Your Stay at The Women's Pavilion

 

If you think you might be in labor but aren't sure, you are welcome to come to the Women's Pavilion to be monitored by a nurse. If you are in labor your physician will give your nurse instructions and the nurse will finalize your birth plan and answer any questions that you might have.

Things For You to Bring

For Mom:

  • Two or three gowns. If you plan to breastfeed, make sure the gowns button down the front.
  • Bathrobe and slippers
  • Two or three nursing bras (if breastfeeding) or support bras and underwear
  • Toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, and makeup
  • Comfortable going home outfit
  • Phone numbers and email addresses for relatives and friends

For Baby:

  • Going home outfit
  • Blanket
  • Carseat

 

Your Stay at The Women's Pavilion

The Women's Pavilion offers you the opportunity for a family-centered birth experience and the immediate availability of our comprehensive obstetric and neonatal services. We know that each birth is special and in order to provide a relaxing atmosphere, all of rooms are private and are attractively decorated and furnished with homelike amenities such as soft lighting and comfortable seating.

Large Private Labor/Delivery/Recovery Suites

When you arrive at The Women's Pavilion, you'll first go to a spacious private Labor and Delivery Suite, which is equipped to accommodate you through the birth of your baby. If the need arises, you can rest assured that a surgical suite is available within the labor and delivery area of The Women's Pavilion, so that you won't have to be transported to another floor in the hospital.

Patient Suites

Large single and two room suites are available. Our spacious patient suites are beautifully decorated and equipped with the latest medical technology. All suites have comfortable furnishings including a seating area which converts into a bed for dad or a guest, flat screen televisions, data port with computer access and private baths.

In-house Anesthesia 24/7

There's no waiting for your epidural in The Women's Pavilion. We have anesthesia coverage in the hospital a round-the-clock, 365 days a year. In addition, physicians in virtually every specialty are available for consultation with you and your doctor when another expert medical opinion is desirable.
